Privacy Notice
Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some — but not all — sharing of their personal financial information. This notice tells you what we collect, why we share it, and how you can limit some of that sharing. It is the initial Privacy Notice required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Regulation P (12 CFR Part 1016). It applies whenever you become our customer or apply for a financial product or service.

To limit our sharing: Because we do not share your information for any of the limit-able categories above, you do not need to take any action. If our sharing practices change, we will send you a revised notice and explain how to opt out.
What we do
How does Nationwide Loans Inc protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards (encryption, access control, audit logging) and secured files and buildings. Employees and third-party service providers are limited to those who need access to perform their duties.
How does Nationwide Loans Inc collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you
- apply for a loan or pre-qualification
- provide employment information or income
- show your government-issued ID
- submit a credit application
- upload supporting documents (W-2s, paystubs, bank statements, tax returns)
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies (e.g., title, escrow, appraisal vendors).
Why can't I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness
- affiliates from using your information to market to you
- sharing for non-affiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under California law.
Definitions
Affiliates — Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Nationwide Loans Inc has no affiliates that share consumer information for marketing purposes.
Non-affiliates — Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Nationwide Loans Inc does not share consumer information with non-affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Joint marketing — A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Nationwide Loans Inc does not engage in joint marketing.
California-specific information
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). For information that is not subject to the GLBA exemption, please review our CCPA / CPRA Privacy Policy. You can also submit a request not to sell or share your personal information at /do-not-sell.
Other state laws
If you are a resident of Vermont, we will not share information we collect about you with non-affiliated third parties, except as permitted by Vermont law, such as to process your transactions or to maintain your account.
If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to be placed on our internal Do-Not-Call list. You may request to be placed on this list by contacting us at the address or email below.
